LOTD 10/02/09

It really feels like fall now here in the Washington DC area, so I thought I would embrace the seasonal changes with today's look of the day. Fall is my favorite season, because the earthy colors always make me feel so cozy and happy...and because it's not so hot and icky outside anymore.

I was trying to think of something I might have already had in my inventory to put this together, and I found this dress from Aoharu that I got quite a while ago. It's such a great autumn piece; you can pair it with tights, socks like I've done, or even a pair of worn-out jeans underneath.

The wide belt holds the skirt prims together so I've never had any of that weird thing where the pieces of the skirt go inside my body or anything, so that's a plus.

My only criticism of the dress is the super intense under-boob shading. It almost looks like a drop off like on a cliff, when my chest size is only about a 20 I think. Meep. Still a fantastic dress, though!

I threw on some cute earrings from Ticky Tacky, and the linen-colored heels from my ETD Heel Strap Platform pack to complete the look.

Also, I used an old Lily skin from artilleri because I had lost mine, and Antonia gave me the packs yesterday and totally made my day! Have you seen a cuter face, seriously? :)
